PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new proteome analysis method detecting the difference in the modification or subunit structure of a peptide protein.;SOLUTION: Proteins having a molecular weight of 50 kDa or higher are separated and recovered from cell extracts and fractionated by two dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC). Each of the protein fractions obtained is analyzed by MALDI-TOF-MS type mass spectrometry to identify the proteins. The mining method for detecting modified proteins from the data obtained by this proteome analysis is investigated, and the total spectra of the peptide ions, detected and identified from the elution position (mapping information) in 2D-LC of each of the proteins and the mass analysis, are three dimensionalized by quantitative weighting. As the result, it is found that a plurality of elution peaks can be detected for Vimentin and heat shock protein to complete the present invention.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
