PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document file search device, an electronic document file search method, and a computer program which efficiently searches for a desired electronic document file from a plurality of electronic document files distributed and stored in a plurality of computers connected by a network.;SOLUTION: Information identifying a plurality of electronic document files including at least text data, location information showing where the electronic document files are stored, and text data are acquired. The plurality of electronic document files are converted to print data, and image data for each page is generated on the basis of converted print data. Information identifying the electronic document files, location information, print data, and image data are stored in association with text data for each page. A plurality of image data are extracted on the basis of an accepted input search condition and are displayed on one screen, and an electronic document file corresponding to the selected and accepted image data is extracted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
