PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience and reliability of confirmation and decision about a medicine dose based on a biometric measurement information while making the most of a method of confirmation and decision by a user himself. PSOLUTION: A medicine dose confirmation system 10 has a portable prescription 12 and a portable blood glucometer 14. The prescription 12 records the relation between a blood glucose level and a medicine dose 48 by character information 24 and code information 26 which can be read by the glucometer 14. The glucometer 14 has a sensor portion 30 measuring a blood glucose level, a display portion 31 displaying a blood glucose level, a wireless reading portion 32 reading the code information 26 of the prescription 12, a CPU 33 specifying the medicine dose 48 from the blood glucose level and the code information 26 of the prescription 12, and an announcement portion 35 announcing the specified medicine dose 48.
