PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: the arrival and departure pit for a motorboat race place within the public domain is rocked even with tide wave, etc., so as to allow a water stream to reach a revetment in the rear part of the pit and return though having a tunnel for allowing a propeller water stream in a mooring operation to escape; smoke exhaust flows out to the rear part of the pit together with the propeller water stream and fills the circumference of the arrival and departure pit so as to affect and do harm on the health of a motorboat racer; and the propeller to be mounted on the motor of the boat for the motorboat race is frequently checked and exchanged since the shape gives large influence on travelling performance.;SOLUTION: The boat arrival and departure pit 10 for a motorboat race in a motorboat race place includes a plurality of substantially L shape pit bodies. The pit bodies are horizontally connected at prescribed interval with the use of metallic connectors, each of which includes: a boat shape corner end 18 for hardly receiving the influence of the tide wave; and a tunnel part having a recessed/projected part for smoothly taking-in the tide wave and the propeller water stream and attenuating the energy. The pit includes: auxiliary decks in the gaps of the substantially L shape pit bodies; propeller exchange work tables where the whole surfaces are coated with rubber; and smoke exhaust devices at the rear ends of the tunnel parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
