PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability and the productivity in the installation work of an O ring by the simple constitution regarding an assembly jig of a floating seal and a floating seal assembly method using the same.;SOLUTION: It is an assembly jig to assemble the floating seal having the first elastic ring attached to the stationary member, the first seal ring fitted in it, the second elastic ring attached to the rotating member and the second seal ring fitted in it in the annular groove formed between a stationary member and a rotating member. It has a cylindrical part 2 having the outside diameter that slides and contacts the inside circumference face 4d of the first or the second seal ring 4, a step part 3 that touches the end part 4c of the first or the second seal ring 4 and restrains the movement of axial direction and an applicator 1 that adheres the lubricant for assembly to the contact face B with the first or the second elastic ring 5 and the stationary member or the rotating member when contacting the step part 3 of the end part 4c.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
