PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the risk that data cannot be reproduced from an optical disk.;SOLUTION: A control part 11 of an optical disk device 2 performs error correction processing when there is an error in data DT read from the optical disk 100, tries to correct the error by performing parity restoration processing as necessary only when the optical disk 100 is a "trust disk", and prompts a user to create a copy of the optical disk 100 when the data DT is generated by the parity restoration processing to create the copied optical disk 100B in response to the instruction of the user. Thus, even when there is an error during the reproduction of the optical disk 100, the copied optical disk 100B can be created as the copy of the optical disk 100 within a period in which the error may be corrected by the error correction processing or sector restoration processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
