PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molybdenum alloy-formed body used as an ion acceleration electrode particularly used for an apparatus such as a focused ion beam (FIB) apparatus and a nuclear fusion device, and to provide a method for producing the molybdenum alloy-formed body.;SOLUTION: The formed body made of a molybdenum alloy and having excellent machinability of drilling is characterized in that: the molybdenum alloy comprises by atom, 1 to 50% Nb and the balance Mo with inevitable impurities wherein pure Nb is dispersed into a matrix composed of pure Mo; the mean particle diameter of the pure Nb is 3 to 100 μm, and the area ratio thereof is 3 to 40%. Further, in the method for producing a formed body made of a molybdenum alloy and having excellent machinability of drilling, a powdery mixture of the Mo powder and Nb powder is subjected to hot isostatic press at 1,100 to 1,500°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
