PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially producing new products different in appearance and feeling from conventional woven or knitted fabrics, by using paper yarn.;SOLUTION: The new products having appearance and feeling different from conventional woven or knitted fabrics can be industrially produced by: printing letters, marks 3, photographs on highly water-resisting specific paper using natural Manila hemp, synthetic film, rayon film, or web-like sheet or coating the whole surface of a plain sheet with water-based or oil-based ink; slitting the obtained print to be a tape with a width of 0.8-50 mm; twisting the tape 4 to be a yarn or string;and the yarn or string is used as the woven or knitted fabric material.
