PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of attaining newly additional entries of terminals for utilizing a wireless LAN with a simple method while preventing leakage of data representing an encryption key.;SOLUTION: A side of an access point 20 stores first ID data and stores second ID data corresponding to a USB key 30 as an external storage device in pairs with the access point 20, connects the USB key 30 to a terminal 50 of the wireless LAN to allow the terminal 50 to transmit subscription instruction data being a connection request together with the ID data in compliance with the wireless LAN standards, the side of the access point compares the ID data stored in advance with the ID data included in the subscription instruction data (step S240 (not shown)), and continues the connection procedure only when the ID data are coincident, then the security can be enhanced while the simplicity is maintained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
