PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation assisting device capable of properly transmitting information even when a lane marker is detected no longer.;SOLUTION: A controller calculates the operating amount of right and left side portions of a seat back portion on the basis of a lateral position in a lane of an own vehicle at a future position, and gives a driver pressing force from a side portion on a lane marker side to which the own vehicle approaches. When the lane marker is not detected, a purpose of vehicular control such as information transmission and assisting of driving operation is decided on the basis of the lateral position in the lane immediately before being detected no longer and present instability of the own vehicle.
