PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for almost reliably producing a sintered ore having a shatter strength (SI) of 90% or higher in spite of containing components constituting blast furnace slag, such as SiO2 and CaO, as low as SiO2: 4.0 to 5.0 mass% and CaO: 7 to 9 mass%, which are less than ever, and to provide pseudo-particles for producing the sintered ore which has high reducibility as well as high shatter strength, and contains reduced iron.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the sintered ore containing 4.0-5.0 mass% SiO2 and 7-9 mass% CaO comprises mixing powder iron ore containing 3.6 mass% or less SiO2 and a carbonaceous material among raw materials to be blended in the sintered ore; forming the mixture into a formed body so that the content of the carbonaceous material in the formed body can be 10 mass% or more; mixing the formed body with the rest of the raw materials to be blended; granulating the mixture; and supplying the grains to a sintering machine to sinter them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
