PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flattening method for a metal sheet where a band-shaped projecting part extending from one end side to the other end side in a metal sheet is flattened, so as to be a band shape, and the metal sheet can be reutilized without being melted.;SOLUTION: At the time when a band-shaped projecting part 24 projecting to one side of a metal sheet 22 is flattened, using a tool 10 equipped with a driving means of rotating a rotary axis 12, and roller-shaped members 14, 14, ... provided around the rotary axis 12 and rotating together with the rotary axis 12 in such a manner that the application of pressing force for gradually pressing a part of the band-shaped projecting part 24 and the release of the pressing force are alternately repeated, so as to perform flattening, the tool 10 is moved, so as to form the flattened part from the one end side to the other end side of the band-shaped projecting part 24 in succession.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
