PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely solid electrochromic device which has a high color change response speed and has quick and distinct multiple electrochromic characteristics, and to provide an electrochromic film and a manufacturing method thereof.;SOLUTION: The completely solid electrochromic device has an electrochromic layer and a solid electrolyte layer held between a pair of electrode substrates, wherein the solid electrolyte layer is constituted of an agarose gel. The electrochromic layer is a WO₃/Ru complex compound film, and the WO₃/Ru complex compound film is formed by adding a polyelectrolyte to an aqueous solution containing a tungstic acid peroxide and a Ru complex to prepare a colloidal solution and depositing a WO₃/Ru complex on electrode substrates from the colloidal solution by an electrolytic deposition method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
