PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operation of a mobile terminal, with respect to an incoming call from a cellular phone terminal, at the mobile terminal in accordance with a state of an in-vehicle unit positioned in the vicinity.;SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 100 comprises: a short-range communication section 150 for communicating with an in-vehicle unit 200 through short-range communication; a telephone network communication section 120 for communicating with a cellular phone network T; a vehicle state monitoring section 132 for acquiring vehicle state information from the in-vehicle unit 200 via the short-range communication section 150; a state determining section 134 for determining a state of the in-vehicle unit 200 on the basis of the vehicle state information acquired by the vehicle state monitoring section 132; and a mode control section 136 for performing an operation, under call incoming, predefined by states of the in-vehicle unit 200 when there is call incoming to the telephone network communication section 120.
