The vehicle seat (11) has two fitting parts, where the one fitting part is rotary and opposite to another fitting part around a rotation axis (8).The fitting parts are angular adjustable by a drive. The fitting part is connected with a backrest (9) of the vehicle seat and another fitting part is connected with seat part (10) of the vehicle seat. The two rest surfaces of the resting unit are arranged on each other in a position radial to the rotation axis.
