PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high corrosion-resistant ferritic stainless steel sheet wherein a weld joint by resistance spot welding exhibits excellent strength, and to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: A slab having a composition containing, by mass, 0.003 to 0.010% C, ≤0.15% Si, ≤0.2% Mn, ≤0.04% P, ≤0.005% S, ≤0.05% Al, ≤0.010% N, 20 to 23% Cr, 0.3 to 0.6% Cu, ≤0.5% Ni and 0.25 to 0.5% Nb, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is heated at 1,000 to 1,200°C, and then subjected to hot rolling in such a manner that finishing temperature is controlled to ≤950°C and coiling temperature is controlled to ≤500°C, and the obtained hot rolled steel sheet is subjected to hot rolled sheet annealing, is further pickled, and is next subjected to cold rolling, and the obtained cold rolled steel sheet is subjected to cold rolled sheet annealing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
