PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power saving to an appropriate level according to the operating conditions of respective existing air conditioners. SOLUTION: Controllers 13a to 13d for a number of objects 11a to 11d are connected to a large-scale network 14. Peak cut commands are transmitted from a centralized concentrated computer center 15 to the controllers 13a to 13d to provide power saving for the air conditioners 12 connected to the respective controllers 13a to 13d. A power supplier 16 can achieve power saving only by making a request of the computer center 15 for reduction in power consumption.
