PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and highly reliable sensor for accurately discriminating an object by using the smallest data memory.;SOLUTION: The object range/azimuth measuring method is disclosed. At least a part of a first signal is transmitted from a sensor 400. The transmitted signal is reflected from the object, and is received by the sensor 400. At least a part of the first signal is applied to a first mixer 418 and a second mixer 420. The received signal is applied to the first and second mixers. A second signal is generated from the first mixer, and a third signal is generated from the second mixer when the transmitted first signal at least partially overlaps with the reflected signal. An azimuth angle, a dislocation degree from an aim and an object range can be determined from the second signal, the third signal or a combination of these signals.
