PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip of a boom from being shifted due to vertical motion of the hull of a ship to spill bulk materials when the bulk materials are unloaded in a state where the tip of the cantilever boom equipped with an unloading conveyor and capable of derricking motion, slewing motion, is placed just above a hopper on a wharf. ;SOLUTION: A boom 12 is equipped with a hoisting device 31, namely a derricking means 42, and a rope 41 of the hoisting device is fastened to the boom 12 through a moving block 34, a fixed block 40 moving vertically integrally with the hull of a ship. When the boom 12 is turned about a support 19 of the portion of the boom being put on a hopper 11, the length of path of the rope 41 is changed and the moving block 34 is moved vertically in relation to the boom 12.
