PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, thin and inexpensive tilt angle detection optical coupling device capable of highly accurately detecting the inclination, and an electronic appliance provided with it.;SOLUTION: A light emitting element 10 is fixed on a light transmissive first conductive pattern 6 arranged on the plane 17 of almost a hemispherical convex lens 1 through a light transmissive conductive adhesive material 8, and also a bisected light receiving element 11 is fixed on a light transmissive second conductive pattern 7 arranged at a place other than the place where the first conductive pattern 6 is arranged on the plane 17 through the light transmissive conductive adhesive material 9. Also, a third conductive pattern 4 is electrically connected to the back surface electrode of the light emitting element 10 through a gold ball 12, and a fourth conductive pattern 5 is electrically connected to the back surface electrode of the bisected light receiving element 11 through the gold ball 13.
