PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search the causes of poor cooling operation of a refrigerator when being used.;SOLUTION: The operated conditions of a compressor constituting a refrigerating cycle for internally refrigerating or freezing the refrigerator are switched (3, 7, 9) in accordance with diagnosis starting commands (2a-2d), and the refrigerator is diagnosed (8, 10) in accordance with temperature changes in the refrigerator set corresponding to the switched operated conditions.
