PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside development information practical use method of a steel strip and a collection/display program of defect data on the steel strip, when an operator inputs an outside inspection result of a defect in a one's own process onto an outside development displayed on a screen of a defect recording device and records it when processing the steel strip in a plurality of processes.;SOLUTION: Record of an inspection result in the preceding process is displayed on the outside development displayed for the input, and the display of the input of the outside inspection result of the defect in the own process is made different from the display of the inspection result in the preceding process such that the operator can decide whether the defect inputted in the own process is generated in the own process or in the preceding process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
