PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an internal filling agent for paper making, capable of improving various functions such as water resistance, water repellence and oil resistance by making the agent include a compound obtained by subjecting specific organometallic compounds to a ring-opening addition reaction and its specific hydrolyzed polymer as components. ;SOLUTION: This internal filling agent comprises a compound obtained by subjecting an organometallic alkoxide of the formula R'mM(OR1)n-m (R' is substituent group containing a primary and/or a secondary amino group; M is a metal element and preferably silicon; R1 is a 1-4C lower alkyl; (n) is the oxidation number of metal element; number of substitution (m) is 0mn) and an organometallic alkoxide of the formula R"mM(OR2)n-m [R" is an epoxy(cyclohexyl)-containing substituent group; M, (n) and (m) are as shown above; R2 is a 1-4C lower alkyl] in the ratio of the number of mols of the whole amino group of the former to that of the whole epoxy group of the latter of 0.65:1 to 2.0:1 to ring-opening addition reaction and its hydrolyzed polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
