PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject ring fine spinning frame designed to obviate such problems that use of an induction machine as a single spindle-driving motor is accompanied by altering the revolutions of the relevant single spindle as well as the weight of yarns thereon to result in altering yarn twist level and a spindle where an abnormality such as yarn breakage occurred cannot be stopped alone by remote control operation. ;SOLUTION: This single spindle-driven ring fine spinning frame mounted with a single spindle-driving motor on each of the spindles works as follows: the single spindle-driving motor which is a synchronous motor is subjected to pulse width modulation control based on the difference between an externally inputted speed instruction and synchronous motor speed corresponding to the speed instruction; a control signal used for the drive control of the synchronous motor represents PWM duty, which is monitored, and when it is suddenly changed, the relevant spindle-driving motor is halted; in this way, by monitoring the PWM duty of the synchronous motor on a software, when the PWM duty is suddenly changed, the relevant spindle-driving motor is halted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
