PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latently crimpable conjugated fiber exhibiting crimps at a low temperature and having heat fusing properties.;SOLUTION: The latently crimpable conjugated fiber is obtained by using a first component containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer and a second component containing a polyester resin having a higher melting point T2 than the melting point T1 of the first component, exposing the first component by a length of ≥20% based on the perimeter of the fibers and having ≥50% dry heat shrinkage percentage of single fibers measured at 100°C temperature for 15 min under 0.018 mN/dtex (2 mg/d) initial load, ≥10% dry heat shrinkage percentage of the single fibers measured under 0.450 mN/dtex (50 mg/d) initial load under the same conditions and ≥30% dry heat shrinkage percentage of the single fibers measured at 120°C temperature for 15 min under 0.450 mN/dtex (50 mg/d) initial load according to JIS-L-1015 (dry heat shrinkage percentage).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
