PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood device capable of preventing the contamination caused by attachment of fat and oil components to a hood without performing troublesome work such as washing the hood by hand work or applying a coating agent. PSOLUTION: This range hood device 1 comprises the hood 2 and a fan 3 for taking the indoor air into the hood 2 and discharging the same to the outside. A spraying device 15 is mounted to spray chemicals 21 composed of a cleaning agent for cleaning the fat and oil component or the oil-repellent coating agent, to the hood 2.
