PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable washing liquid for washing coating attached to a mask holder for coating, having excellent washing property and washing efficiency to many kinds of coatings, capable of reducing wastes produced in a washing step and to provide a washing method and a washing apparatus.;SOLUTION: The washing liquid for washing coating attached to the mask holder 4 for coating is constituted of a first component containing at least one among monovalent and divalent alcohols or and ether-based compounds thereof and a second component of a liquid hydrocarbon. The washing method for washing the coating attached to the mask holder for coating comprises washing the coating attached to the mask holder 4 for coating with the washing liquid, replacing the attached washing liquid with a rinsing agent, washing the attached rinsing agent with steam and drying the holder 4 by a compressed air. The washing apparatus (a) is equipped with a washing tank 1, a rinsing tank 2, a tank 3 for carrying out steam washing and air drying and a conveying apparatus 5 horizontally conveying the mask holder 4 for coating over these tanks and liftably constituted so as to enable insertion of the holder into each tank.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
