PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquatic environment preservation material and an aquatic environment preservation method to simplify the operations from the production to the use in a water area, reduce the cost and efficiently supply ferric ion as a hardly oxidizable stable ferric fulvate to organisms. PSOLUTION: The aquatic environment preservation material is produced by packing a water-permeable bag with a substance containing ferric ion and a substance containing a humic matter, packing a water-permeable bag with a substance containing ferric ion and a material forming a humic matter by fermentation, or packing the bag with a fermentation promoting material in addition to the above substances.
