PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching member stabilizing a transmitting-receiving sensibility when used as an ultrasonic vibrator.;SOLUTION: The acoustic matching member is composed of hollow spherical bodies 1 with surface coating layers 2. In the acoustic matching member, the hollow spherical bodies 1 are joined mutually at adjacent sites by the surface coating layers 2. Consequently, the adjacent hollow spherical bodies 1 are joined mutually by the surface coating layers 2 previously formed to the hollow spherical bodies 1, a non-joining site generated in the case of the formation of the acoustic matching member is reduced, and the transmitting-receiving sensibility as the ultrasonic vibrator is stabilized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
