PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve easy storing, transportation, and on-site construction and responding to an emergency by unitizing two base plates that face each other, a damper web, and a flange plate positioned and fixed in advance.;SOLUTION: The shear panel type damper is provided with a damper web positioned and fixed between two base plates 1 that face each other and unitized with flange plates 3 positioned and fixed on both ends of the damper web between the base plates in a direction that intersects with the damper web. The lateral length of the base plates is made shorter than the lateral length of a gusset plate to achieve positioning and fixing of two or more shear panel type dampers on one gusset plate in a lateral line.
