PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically sort a plurality of carbon nanotubes according to characteristics in a short period of time. PSOLUTION: The carbon nanotube sorting apparatus 1 is constituted so that mapping measurement is performed with respect to a sample 10 to measure spectra corresponding to various irradiation areas of a laser beam R and the peak parts possessed by the respective measured spectra are detected to detect the wave numbers related to the peak parts.
