PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening device with which a blind nut and a blind rivet can be fastened to a member to be fastened without depending on the sense of a worker and also, without performing slant-fastening and float-fastening. PSOLUTION: The fastening device 1 includes a nose 6, a pulling means 14 for pulling backward a fitting tool held to the tip part of the nose through the nose, air-pressure moving mechanisms (25, 26, 27, 30, 31) for making the pulling means 14 perform pulling movement and an air path 4 for feeding the compressed air into the air-pressure moving mechanisms, and in the air path, three pieces of mechanical valves 33A-33C are arranged in series, and the compressed air is supplied into the air-pressure moving mechanisms through these mechanical valves. Then, a working pin 34 (and a contacting pin 31) elastically arranged in each mechanical valve, has the length so as to abut on the member to be fastened when the tip part of the nose is abutted on the member to be fastened, and also, the tip part of each working pin is disposed so as to abut on the member to be fastened at the different position of the tip part of the nose and the tip part of the other working pin.
