PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust sticking preventing device preventing a front glass of a camera housing containing a camera from being stained by electrostatically charging dust by one electrode and sticking the electrostatically charged dust on the other electrode by applying an opposite-polarity potential to a nearby position in front of the front glass, and the camera housing equipped with the dust sticking preventing device. PSOLUTION: The dust sticking preventing device is equipped with at least a charging electrode installed nearby in front of a transparent member for viewing an outer side, a dust collecting electrode which is installed in front of the transparent member and nearby the electrostatic charging electrode, and an electrode power source which supplies electricity to the electrostatic charging electrode and dust collecting electrode, and the potential supplied from the electrode power source has the same polarity with the electrostatic charging electrode and transparent member to charge the dust collecting electrode to the opposite polarity. Consequently, the electrostatic charging electrode charges matter suspended nearby in front of the transparent member, so that the suspended matter having been charged generate a repulsive force with the transparent member to stick on the dust collecting electrode with an attractive force exerting on the dust collecting electrode.
