PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device for effectively controlling the vibration.;SOLUTION: This damping device comprises a cylinder 2, a main flow channel 10 connecting pressure chambers 6a, 6b in the cylinder 2, a bypass flow channel 11 bypassing the main flow channel 10, a pair of first check valves 8a, 8b mounted on the way of the main flow channel, a pair of second check valves 9a, 9b mounted on the way of the bypass flow channel 11, a pair of branched flow channels 20, 21 for connecting the main flow channel 10 between the first check valves 8a, 8b and the bypass flow channel 11 between the second check valves 9a, 9b, an unloading control valve 12 mounted on the way of one of the branched flow channels 20 and capable of adjusting damping force, an orifice 24 and an opening and closing valve 14 mounted on the way of the other branched flow channel 21, and an accumulator 19 connected with the main flow channel 10 between the first check valves 8a, 8b, and the opening and closing valve 14 and the unloading control valve 12 are controlled on the basis of the magnitude of vibrational external force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
