PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wide mouthed cup (container) provided with a desired characteristic by biaxially stretching blow molding.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing apparatus 1 of the wide mouthed cup container, a multi-layer sheet 2 is produced in a multi-layer extruding manufacturing line 3, and a preform (primary molded intermediate) 4 for manufacturing the wide mouthed cap container is produced by carrying out punching and pressing simultaneous molding for the multi-layer sheet 2 in a preform manufacturing line 5. By appropriately selecting a layer composition of the multi-layer sheet 2 and constituent resin, the preform 4 for imparting various characteristics required for the wide mouthed cup container is obtained.
