PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid type thermally transpirable insecticide composition which contains transfluthrin or metofluthrin as an insecticidal ingredient, exhibits a high evaporation performance and a high insecticidal potency, and has excellent preparation usability such as freezing prevention, and to provide a liquid type thermal transpiration insect-killing method using the composition. PSOLUTION: This liquid type thermally transpirable insecticide composition prepared by dissolving 0.2 to 2.0 wt. % of transfluthrin or metofluthrin as an insecticidal ingredient in an oily solvent is characterized in that the oily solvent comprises an isoparaffin having a boiling point temperature (95 wt. % distillation temperature) range of 240 to 300°C in an amount of 63 to 85 wt. % based on the total amount of the insecticide composition and a naphthenic hydrocarbon having a boiling point temperature (95 wt. % distillation temperature) range of 260 to 320°C in an amount of 13 to 35 wt. % based on the total amount of the insecticide composition.
