PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect seamless user transition between networks.;SOLUTION: A method to effect seamless transition of a mobile terminal user from a first radio access network assigning a first address to the mobile terminal user to a second radio access network includes the steps of: detecting access, by the mobile terminal user, to the second network; assigning, from the second network to the mobile terminal, a co-location address to be used as a source address for all packets that belong to a session initiated by the user while accessing the second network; receiving a reply packet from an external source having the co-location address as a destination address; and receiving, from the first network, a transfer packet addressed to the mobile terminal user at the first address, at the second network.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
