PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface cable having stable electric characteristics and a method for easily and simply manufacturing the interface cable having stabilized electric characteristics.;SOLUTION: In an interface cable 10 of this invention, plural pairs of twisted wire cores 24 are twisted, the unevenness 15 of a twisted periphery is filled with a cushion layer 12 by taping the twisted periphery with a pressing and winding tape 11 having the cushion layer 12, and the periphery of the tape 11 is covered with a sheath 27. In a method for manufacturing the interface cable 10 of this invention, the plural pairs of twisted wire cores 24 are twisted, the cushion layer 12 of the pressing and winding tape 11 is deformed in response to the unevenness of the twisted periphery when taping the twisted periphery with the pressing and winding tape 11 having the cushion layer 12, and the unevenness 15 of the twisted periphery is filled with the cushion layer 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
