PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition capable of giving a coating film excellent in stain resistance, appearance and solvent resistance as well as excellent in persistency enough to hardly suffer from changes in gloss (appearance) and the contact angle after its pot life is over.;SOLUTION: The resin composition for a coating comprises (A) a resin for a coating for a production line, (B) a stain resistance-maintaining agent, and (C) a silicon-containing compound represented by the general formula; (R1O)4-a- Si-(R2)a and/or a partial hydrolyzate condensate, and is excellent in external appearance and stain resistance after its pot life is over.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
