PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposal method of a low-level radioactive waste highly reducible in volume, when a non-halogen organic polymer-based low-level radioactive waste is subjected to a volume reduction by an oxidation decomposition reaction in the presence of a ruthenium oxide catalyst. PSOLUTION: The non-halogen organic polymer-based low-level radioactive waste is subjected to a supercritical water reaction with the ruthenium oxide catalyst, to thereby decompose, vaporize and liquefy the low-level radioactive waste. Then, two or more agents including an insoluble hydroxide formation agent out of (1) the insoluble hydroxide formation agent, (2) a carbonate formation agent, (3) an insoluble tetraphenylborate formation agent and (4) a silver iodine formation agent are added to the liquefied matter as an insoluble matter formation agent simultaneously or with the passage of time, and thereby the insoluble matter is formed and subjected to solid-phase migration (separation).
