PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the segregation of boron in a method for producing a low-temperature sintered dielectric porcelain composition. PSOLUTION: The production method comprises a dispersion step (step S11) for making a mixed raw material liquid by dispersing a base material and an auxiliary agent at least containing boron in a liquid at least containing water and a drying step (step S12) for making a mixed raw material powder by drying the mixed raw material liquid, provided that in the dispersion step (step S11), a nonvolatile organic material having OH groups is added to the mixed raw material liquid. Thus, boron contained in the auxiliary agent is incorporated into the organic material, enabling the segregation of boron in a drying step to be suppressed. The added organic material is decomposed/burned in a subsequent burning step and hence does not remain in a ceramic substrate after burning. Therefore, electric characteristics, such as Q value and dielectric constant, is not fluctuated even by the addition of the organic material. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
