PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hot-forging a Zn-Al alloy superplastic at room temperature, namely, a method for producing a forgery retaining superplasticity inherent in the Zn-Al alloy at good productivity without adversely affecting a mold.;SOLUTION: The method for hot-forging a Zn-Al alloy superplastic at room temperature comprises subjecting the alloy at least once to high-speed forging at a forging temperature of 50 to 200°C and at a forging speed of 100 mm/min or higher to a cumulative deformation rate of 70 to 99.0% and thereafter subjecting it at least once to low-speed forging at a forging speed of below 100 mm/min.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
