PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lip-like seal member having flexibility and strength, and a liquid pressure master cylinder for a vehicle using the same. PSOLUTION: The lip-like seal member 82a includes a base part 821 and a lip part 822 formed so as to be endlessly protruded from the base part 821. The lip part 822 is liquid-tightly and slidably pressed with respect to a sealed surface 77. The lip-like seal member 82a is formed of a rubber composition made by adding carbon black of 60-250 pts.wt. having an average particle size of 40-500 nm with respect to ethylene-propylene rubber of 100 pts.wt.
