Silane compound having stilbene structure, luminescent material containing the compound, and electroluminescent device using the luminescent material

An organosilane compound is provided to develop an organo-electroluminescent material having improved blue light emitting efficiency, by introducing a silane having a stilbene structure thereinto. The silane-based compound is represented by the formula(1), where n is an integer from 1 to 4, each R3 and R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, methyl, phenyl and cyanide, and Ar is selected from the group consisting of biphenyl, naphthal, quinoline, carbazol, fluorene, diphenyl biphenyl, julolidine, anthracene, spirol, and derivatives thereof. The organic electroluminescent device comprises a cathode, an anode and a luminescent layer comprising a luminescent material comprising the silane-based compound.
