PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make quick recovery from phase shift as an error caused by signal omission or the like.;SOLUTION: In the method for recording information on a recording medium at a multivalue level, during the recording of information on the recording medium, a clock mark for extracting a clock for reproducing information from the recording medium, a synchronous mark for detecting a bit slip, and a synchronism pull-in mark for pulling in phase synchronism in a position immediately after the synchronous mark.
