PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of performing sheet processing at high processing speed in the number of sheets every minute by sufficiently utilizing potential processing ability without change in a motor and a mechanism.;SOLUTION: The sheet processing device 1 transmits an expectation time of sheet processing to the image forming device on an upstream side and delivers the sheet from the image forming device at the transmitted time. When switching of a first tray 23 and a second tray 24 is included in the sheet processing, a CPU 600 divides a movement distance by data of a movement speed retained in a flash memory and calculates the movement time. The data of the movement speed retained in the flash memory determines an actually measured movement speed from the movement distance and the movement time actually measured every time when a tray unit 26 is lifted and is corrected to the latest value using the actually measured movement speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
