PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constant control of the raw sludge supply amount of a dehydrator which makes the flow rate of raw sludge fed to the dehydrator constant, and its control apparatus. PSOLUTION: A coagulation and mixing tank (3) with a concentration function and a standard coagulation and mixing tank (21) are arranged in series. The raw sludge (Q1) is fed to the coagulation and mixing tank (3) with a concentration function at a constant flow rate. The concentration of concentrated sludge (Q2) is controlled by changing the dosage rate of a polymer coagulant (P1) added to the coagulation and mixing tank (3) according to a change in the internal pressure of the coagulation and mixing tank (3) while keeping a constant press-in pressure of coagulated sludge (Q3) fed to the dehydrator (24) under pressure, and the amount of treated solid matter is controlled by the constant press-in pressure of the coagulation and mixing tank (21) before supplying the coagulated sludge (Q3) to the dehydrator (24), which can improve the filterability of the coagulated sludge (Q3) to equalize the treatment amounts and moisture contents of the dehydrator (24).
