PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably retain an abutting state of a sewing part of joint parts 8, 9 in the case where end portions of a rubber coated cloth 12 with an non- vulcanized rubber are abutted and sewed by an overredging industrial sewing machine to joint them and a cylindrical sewing cloth 7 becoming a back surface cloth 5 of a V ribbed belt 13 is formed.;SOLUTION: After end portions of a rubber drawing cloth 12 are abutted and sewed, the sewing part is opened to the abutted state and is pressurized while it is heated to a temperature less than vulcanization temperature of the rubber. The abutted parts are joined in the state that the rubber is fused to a sewing thread 10 and the abutted state of the sewing parts is retained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
