PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate soil removing treatment in the case of executing an auger device for assisting press-in of a pile, to the ground containing highly cohesive sediment to prevent the sediment from being scattered around, and to allow the execution of the auger device even in a narrow place.;SOLUTION: An upper part side face of a casing 2 is provided with a soil removal port 5, and a soil removing tank 25 is detachably mounted to the soil removal port 5. Removed soil is thereby discharged from above to facilitate soil removing treatment in the case of excavating the highly cohesive sediment. A cover 7 for opening/closing the soil removal port 5 is further provided to prevent the fall and scatter of the sediment from the soil removal port 5 in the removed state of the soil removing tank 25. If the upper side face of the casing 2 is relatively provided with two soil removal ports 5, even in the case of reversing to press in a pile 4 to be pressed in next to the previously pressed-in pile, one soil removal port 5 can always face forward in the executing direction, and the soil removing tank 25 can be mounted thereto to allow execution even in the narrow place.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
