PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-advancing soil improving machine capable of smoothly discharging improved soil even when sediment in which a foreign matter such as a big stone is mixed is improved to correspond new recent needs and provide a mixing device used in the same.;SOLUTION: In the self-advancing soil improving machine improving the received sediment by stirring and mixing the sediment, a detachable cover 48 is provided at a discharge port 35 of the mixing device 3, and a discharge position for the stirred and mixed improved soil is changed from a partitioning part 48b" of the cover 48 onto a wall face constituting a front side of the self- advancing soil improving machine of the discharge port 35 so that it can move in the longitudinal direction of the mixing device 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
